Here we answer some of the most common questions.
When are association assessments due? Association dues are billed quarterly and are due on the first day of each quarter, January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. Payments are made through our management company, Cedar Management.
? Owners may hold a Garage Sale two times during the year, the second weekend, (Thurs. - Sun.), in June and Sept. An estate/moving sale may also be held with approval from the Board.
This box is a “Little Free Library” that is designed to promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide and to build a sense of community. There are over 75,000 Little Free Library book exchanges around the world, bringing curbside literacy home and sharing millions of books annually. Users are encouraged to take a book to read, as well as add to the collection by leaving a book.
Trash and recycling are picked up every Tuesday, unless there is a holiday. If pickup falls on a holiday then pickup for both trash and recycling is the following day. A schedule is sent out by the trash and recycling companies.
The Board of Directors consists of five townhome owners who are elected for alternating two year terms at the annual meeting in September. The Board sets its meeting dates. Meetings are held in Board members homes and owners may attend. Since meetings are in homes, advance notice by owners who wish to attend a Board Meeting is appreciated.
There are three standing committees that volunteers can join.
Crime Watch - The Crime Watch Committee is in contact with the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Watch Block group and reports to owners items of information/concern related to safety and crime in our area.
Grounds - The Grounds Committee is divided into two divisions charged with aspects relating to the care of the townhome grounds including reviewing contracts for snow removal, tree and shrub maintenance, lawn maintenance and other items that may come up related to the grounds.
Social - The Social Committee organizes several social events for our community including a spring potluck, a fall event and a Christmas dinner event.
Yes, however, no more than two pets are allowed per unit and if taken out of the unit must be on a leash. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
No feeding of wildlife, except for birds, is allowed.
